You are loved....

Love....
When you hear that word what do you think of? Do you think of happiness? Joy? Commitment? Or do you think pain? Heartbreak? Emptiness?
To be honest, sometimes when it comes to love alot of people think of nothing but the pain that happened the last time they fell in love. But what about the other side? What about the joy you felt when you first met that person? Do you really quickly forget things like that because of the pain? Or because you choose not to remember the joy of love because of fear? Well whatever the answer may be, you shouldn't walk out on love because honestly love has never walked out on you.
You see in life you experience love that you probably didnt even realize existed and thats the love of God. I know you are probably thinking omg she is about to get all religious on me and start forcing God down my throat but actually I'm not. I want to simply just share with you the thoughts and feelings I have on love and what I have learned about it. I, Jessica, learned many years ago that love isnt just a feeling you get when you meet that special person you want to be with for the rest of your life. Love is everywhere and amongst every person. For example, you experience love with your family and friends on a daily basis, which means that love isnt just a special feeling you fall upon once in a lifetime. Then you have the love you share with God. Now from my understanding of who God is and what He stands for, I have found out that God is LOVE. And knowing Him means that you already know what love is without having to fall in love with anyone at anytime. God shows you a love that no one can ever come close to comparing to.
In my own life, I have had moments where I thought I would never find real love and I would forever be the one loving more and giving more of myself. But honestly, the love that God gives us all can never be matched because He forgives us daily and never leaves us no matter what we do or how we act. So from saying that I just want you to know that you may not be in a relationship or may just feel like there is no one out there that loves you, but honestly honeys you are loved, by the greatest love of all.

  1. This is interesting. Unconditional love is rare and hard to find outside of one's own family. I agree that God is always there in times of need but am thankful that God has also created others that are there to physically & emotionally provide me with.

  2. I for one agree, The Love of God is the Greatest love of all. People tend to make the statement "You gotta learn how to love your self before you can love any one else". But I think the statement should be ..You have to Love God and understand the Love of God in order to love yourself or anyone else. As you stated above, God is love and knowing him means you already know what love is. So searching for love through people or through things should be irrelevant, but as People we still do, and even then we're never really content or satisfied, there's always some type of void or longing that needs to be filled or fed. We always want more or need something else or as you said we give so much of ourselves expecting an equal outcome but get burned or hurt in the end, which then leaves us scarred, hurt, bitter and sceptical about Love period. We then throw In the towel, give up & say "Fuck love" or "Ima be 1 deep" or "Me, Myself & I". But Why are we so quick to let go & give up when God never gives up on us? Destiny's Child has a song, I'm through With Love...The last lyrics of the song say, " Ive given so much in the past for a Love Ive ALWAYS had...I've found a new Love, I finally found it in God..! What if People could find peace in the fact that we are Loved by God?? How many broken hearts could be mended? How many Love bashers could actually fall in love again? How many people could actually appreciate, understand, enjoy & value the excitement of those 4 letters LOVE!!!
