Quarantine Thoughts (Part 2)

Being in the house, you seem to think about everything and you start notice different things. I feel this pandemic has shown me a lot about people, Faith, and just life.

You see your circumstances and what you are facing, then you look around and notice that you are the one ALWAYS reaching out and no one is reaching out to you. In some cases you make exceptions because some people are facing things that they never reveal. But then there are those "FRIENDS" that literally only text when you text and you wonder whats really up.. Like are we really friends or are we just friends when we are around each other? I guess because of everything I have been through I find it very easy now to fall back from people when they start to move funny. I am never hard up for people because I am starting to think if you fall off then it's because you were not supposed to be around in the first place.

Then I am seeing that all the "God got you" "Just call on the Lord" people are not speaking those faith filled words anymore because of this pandemic. Yes I know our realities have turned into something that we did not see coming, but why should that change the faith we have in God.? I mean I am a very spiritual person, I never allow circumstance to change my thoughts on how I know God will get me through all things. Yes our reality is not the best with this pandemic and people are losing loved ones but that does not mean you lose your FAITH and your PEACE. (I am really talking to myself when it comes to the peace part)

We cannot pick and chose when we will stand in faith and trust God, we should ALWAYS believe that the words we have heard from God and the things that He has brought us all through before. What going on around us does not/should not dictate how our prayer life, how we speak things into exist, and we speak to our circumstance. During this quarantine, we should be able to show our children family prayer and family worship to start our days. We have a chance to help others see God in a way they have not in a while because of church hurt or just because they have just forgot what God can and will do for them.

This is a time we get to show our children how our faithfulness pays off, how God will take care of his children in a time the world is being hit hard by a virus, and let our children know no matter what the circumstance may be we never forget that God is always there. I know it's not always easy to keep your faith, but you have to realize that God is the same, yesterday, today, and forevermore.

But this is just my thoughts.....

Until next time, I will be #SurvivingLife.

  1. Every morning when I stroll through Facebook I see posts reminding us to Lean on God and never forget his word because it will carry you through....what I think people forget is the part where "He may not come when YOU call, but he is always on time." I have seen a few posts that suggest we are living in our last days...well I am here to say, when I was born I started living in my last days....I see people make jokes about how God could allow this happen and where is He now posts? I choose to ignore those posts and continue on with my spiritual relationship with the Man upstairs.....

Then here it is almost Easter and many people are forgetting passover and the importance of the Easter Holiday. It's not about Easter eggs and easter baskets...the message has gotten lost and at this time more than ever, we need to stand on our unwavering faith. I can not sp ak for anyone else but as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord....We will continue to praise him for all he has done and will do..the power is in the tongue and I speak life, health, and longevity over our people as many wall blindly during these times.
